Reishi mushrooms love warm humid conditions. If you live in the north where the summer season is short and humidity is low logs should be placed in a shaded greenhouse or cold frame to ensure a warm humid climate. Lay logs directly on the ground or partially bury them in a shaded area that experiences rainfall to maintain moisture.
Reishi Mushroom Tea. Simmer 1-2 tablespoons of reishi mushroom slices in 2 cups of water for about 30 minutes. Strain and add sweeteners if desired.
